The Gulf South Conference announced its seventh set of women's soccer Player of the Week awardees of the 2025 season, for performances based on matches from October 13-19.
 
PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Alaysia Nye, Sr., F, Lee

• Recorded four points with four of seven shots on goal and played 147 minutes leading the Lady Flames to a 1-0-1 week.
• Recorded a brace in a 3-1 win against Montevallo.
• Had two of four shots on goal in a 0-0 draw against unbeaten Embry Riddle.
• Earned her second GSC Player of the Week award this season.

DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Nora Burton, R-Sr., D, Lee

• Played 131 minutes as Lee went 1-0-1 on the week and earned three points in GSC play.
• Had two shots go on frame with one goal scored in a 3-1 win against Montevallo.
• Helped the Lady Flames backline secure a shutout in 90 minutes played against unbeaten Embry Riddle.

• Helped West Alabama extend its win streak to six with shutout wins over Delta State and Mississippi College.
• Now has nine shutouts on the season after recording back-to-back clean sheets with 12 saves on 26 shots faced.
• Earned her second GSC Goalkeeper of the Week award this season.
