INDIANAPOLIS — Flagler will represent the Gulf South Conference in the 2026 NCAA Division II Women’s Lacrosse Championship, as announced Sunday during the NCAA Selection Show.

The Saints (19-0) enter as the No. 2-seed in the South Regional, earning a bye to the second round, and will face the winner of No. 3-seed Saint Leo and No. 6-seed Young Harris on May 9. Flagler returns to the NCAA postseason for the fourth consecutive season after securing the GSC’s automatic bid by winning the conference tournament.
Flagler—who recorded seven wins against national top-25 opposition—have been one of the best two-way teams this season and go into the NCAA tournament leading DII in scoring offense (19.32) and scoring margin (+13.11), while ranking third in scoring defense (6.21) and clear percentage (.905). Individually, goalie Dakota Capolino is third among DII leaders in goals against average (6.51) and save percentage (.537), while GSC Player of the Year Jessica Wright paces the attack and is among the top-25 in points (12th/99), goals (21st/60) and assists (21st/39).
The 2026 NCAA DII Women’s Lacrosse Championship opens with region tournament play on May 7 and 9. The national quarterfinals, which also double as the regional title games, are slated for May 16. Judson Stadium in Rochester, N.Y., will be the site of the national semifinals and national championship games, set for May 21 and May 23, respectively.
