The Gulf South Conference unveiled the women’s lacrosse all-conference selection and individual awards, following the 2026 season. All awards were determined by the six head coaches via an online vote.
Flagler took home four of the five individual awards. GSC Attacker of the Year went to Jessica Wright, while Ella Pinder and Molly Sloan were named Midfielder of the Year and Defensive Player of the Year, respectively. UAH’s Olivia Rewers collected GSC Freshman of the Year accolades, and Flagler head coach Grant Kelam rounded out the awards as he was voted GSC Coach of the Year.
Flagler also had with a conference-best nine All-GSC selections, highlighted by eight on the first team. UAH and Lander followed with seven apiece, while Lee had two and Montevallo had one.
Wright finished the season as the GSC leader in goals (57), points (90) and assists (33). She also averaged 4.41 shots/game and a conference-best 3.35 goals per game while appearing in 17 contests for the Saints. Her offensive output also places her among NCAA Division II leaders, ranking seventh in points, 15th in goals and 23rd in assists.
Pinder tallied 41 points in 17 games, scoring 30 times with 11 assists. She recorded a GSC-best 56 draw controls, accompanied by 14 caused turnovers and 21 ground balls.
Sloan finished with a team-high 22 ground balls in 17 games. She also registered 14 caused turnovers, helping the Saints to be ranked second in scoring defense, allowing 6.0 goals per game.
Rewers had a notable freshman campaign, notching 60 points with 44 goals and 16 assists. As a result, the rookie led the Chargers in most offensive categories and was among GSC leaders in points (third), total shots (third/85), goals (fourth), and assists (seventh).
Kelam was tabbed with the GSC’s top coaching honors for the fourth consecutive season. He guided Flagler to a 17-0 record and claimed its fourth conference regular season title with a 5-0 mark in GSC play. Nationally, the Saints led Division II in total goals (327) and scoring margin (+13.24), while ranking second in scoring offense (19.24/game) and scoring defense (6.0/game).
