BIRMINGHAM, Ala. — Flagler’s Jessica Wright (offensive) and Molly Sloan (defensive), as well as Lander’s Morgan Hill (freshman) were recognized with Gulf South Conference Women's Lacrosse Weekly Awards Presented by Athletic Solutions, following their performances between March 30-April 5.
GSC OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Jessica Wright, Sr., AT, Flagler
Wright tallied 13 points on the week to help No. 1 Flagler remain undefeated on the season. The senior had three goals and three assists in a 19-4 win at Young Harris. She also scored three goals on five shots, all on frame, while notching season-high numbers in assists (four) and caused turnovers (two) in a 22-3 victory at Lee. This is Wright’s fourth GSC Offensive Player of the Week award of the 2026 season as she also earned it Feb. 10, March 17 and March 24.

GSC DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Molly Sloan, Sr., D, Flagler
Sloan led the Saints’ defense to two victories on the week, improving to 15-0 overall. The senior found a career-high seven ground balls and recorded her first-ever assist in the landslide 19-4 win over Young Harris. She then contributed four ground balls and three caused turnovers in the 22-3 win over Lee. This is Sloan’s first GSC Defensive Player of the Week award of the 2026 season.

GSC FRESHMAN OF THE WEEK
Morgan Hill, Fr., AT, Lander
Hill registered her sixth hat trick of the season as the Bearcats clinched a spot in the GSC tournament with a win on the week. The rookie scored a team-high five goals, with all nine of her shots on goal, in a 19-2 victory over Montevallo. She also found two ground balls and caused two turnovers against the Falcons. This is Hill’s second GSC Freshman of the Week award of the 2026 season as she also earned it March 10.
