BIRMINGHAM, Ala. — UAH’s Olivia Rewers (offensive and freshman) and Lee’s Tara Orloski (defensive) were recognized with Gulf South Conference Women's Lacrosse Weekly Awards Presented by Athletic Solutions, following their performances between March 23-29.
GSC OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Olivia Rewers, Fr., AT/M, UAH
Rewers posted 11 points across two games on the week to help the Chargers start GSC play 3-0. The rookie scored three goals, while putting up career-high numbers in assists and draw controls with two and nine, respectively, in a 23-6 win over Lee. She also recorded a career-high in goals with five and had one assist, three ground balls, three caused turnovers and three draw controls in a 18-5 win over Montevallo. This is Rewers’ second GSC Offensive Player of the Week award of the 2026 season as she also earned it Feb. 3.

GSC DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Tara Orloski, So., D, Lee
Orloski had a solid week to lead Lee’s defense in picking up a conference win. The sophomore defender registered one ground ball, one caused turnover and four draw controls in a loss to UAH. She also had three ground balls and one draw control, as well as tied her season-high for caused turnovers with three in a 17-9 win over Virginia State. This is Orloski’s first GSC Defensive Player of the Week award of the 2026 season.

GSC FRESHMAN OF THE WEEK
