BIRMINGHAM, Ala. — Flagler’s Jessica Wright (offensive), Montevallo’s Bridget Quayle (defensive) and Lander’s Emersin Clamp (freshman) were recognized with Gulf South Conference Women's Lacrosse Weekly Awards Presented by Athletic Solutions, following their performances between March 16-22.
GSC OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Jessica Wright, Sr., M, Flagler
Wright had 11 points on the week to help Flagler extend its win streak to 12. The senior midfielder’s best performance came against No. 6 Embry-Riddle with five goals and two assists, as well as one groundball in the 19-12 victory. She also had three goals and one assist in a 25-3 win over Virginia State. This is Wright’s second-straight and third overall GSC Offensive Player of the Week award of the 2026 season as she also earned it February 10 and March 17.

GSC DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Bridget Quayle, So., M, Montevallo
Quayle’s defensive efforts led the Falcons to their first conference win of the season. The sophomore midfielder tallied two ground balls, four caused turnovers and two draw controls, while scoring two goals and adding one assist in a 20-4 win over Virginia State. She also recorded three ground balls, three caused turnovers and one goal in a loss at Lynn. This is Quayle’s first GSC Defensive Player of the Week award of the 2026 season.

GSC FRESHMAN OF THE WEEK
Emersin Clamp, Fr., GK, Lander
Clamp registered her first career win in goal as Lander secured their first victory in 2026 GSC play. The rookie made six saves on 14 shots faced, with a save percentage of .462. She also collected two ground balls in route to a 16-7 win over Lee. This is Clamp’s first GSC Freshman of the Week award of the 2026 season.
