The Gulf South Conference announced its second volleyball Player of the Week awardees of the 2025 season, based on for performances from September 8-14.
 
OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Gabi Moulton, Jr., S, West Florida

• Finished with 124 assists, 21 kills and 28.5 points as the Argonauts went 3-1 at the prestigious Colorado Premier Challenge.
• Dished out a season-high 46 assists and eight kills in a 3-1 win versus Missouri Western. 
• Began the weekend with a 26-assist performance in 3-0 win over No. 7 Ferris State.
• Averaged 1.62 kills, 9.54 assists, 2.31 digs and 0.85 blocks per set.

CO-DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Madalyn Mire, Jr., L, West Florida

• Had 49 digs (4.45/set) across four matches as UWF went 3-1 at the Colorado Premier Challenge.
• Registered three double-digit performances, highlighted by a 23-dig effort versus Missouri Western.
• Had 14 digs in three-set win over No. 7 Ferris State.

 Samarin Kipple, Jr., L, Mississippi College

• Had a conference-high 57 digs over the weekend, averaging 4.07 per set.
• Tally three consecutive double-digit performances, including a 22-dig showing against Henderson State.
• Collected 19 digs in a 3-2 win over Arkansas-Fort Smith to begin the weekend.

FRESHMAN OF THE WEEK
Elizabeth Gilbert, Fr., RS, Union

• Finished with 44 kills, hit .272, 15 digs, six blocks and 47 points last week.
• Logged her first career double-double, tallying a season-high 16 kills and 11 digs against Harding.
• Registered two hitting performances of .333 or better, highlighted by a .400-clip in the weekend opener against Missouri Southern State.
