The 2024 Academic All-District® volleyball teams, selected by College Sports Communicators (CSC), were announced. Among those listed were 26 Gulf South Conference student-athletes.
The award recognize the nation’s top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes men’s and women’s soccer honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.
CSC OFFICIAL ANNOUNCEMENT
The Gulf South had five student-athletes who received Academic All-District® honorees advance to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot—Alabama Huntsville’s Autumn Mayes, Auburn Montgomery’s Maya Thompson, and West Florida’s Meg Brackhan, Gabi Moulton and Jenna Zydlo.
Student-athletes selected as CSC Academic All-America® finalists are denoted with an asterisk and will advance to the national ballot to be voted on by CSC members. Academic All-America® selections will be announced January 14, 2025.
