INDIANAPOLIS — For the third consecutive season, Flagler will represent the Gulf South Conference in the NCAA Division II Women’s Lacrosse Championship, as announced Sunday evening in the NCAA Selection Show.

The Saints will begin their NCAA postseason as the fifth-seeded team in the South Regional and will open against fourth-seeded Lynn. The winner will then play host and top-seeded Tampa on May 10 in the second round. The rest of the South Regional will include second-seeded Florida Southern, third-seeded Embry-Riddle (Fla.), and sixth-seeded Mount Olive.
Flagler heads into the tournament with a 13-5 record overall and secured a spot after winning the GSC Women’s Lacrosse Championship and the automatic bid. The 2025 campaign marks the sixth season that the Gulf South Conference has sponsored women’s lacrosse.
The 2025 NCAA DII Women’s Lacrosse Championship is the first season with automatic bid and the newly expanded 24-team bracket. Region tournament play will be May 8, 10, and 17. Kerr Stadium in Salem, Va., will be the site of the national semifinals and national championship games, slate for May 22 and May 24, respectively.
