BIRMINGHAM, Ala. — The Gulf South Conference announced Trevecca Nazarene’s Cheyenne Trotter (player) and Union’s Abigail Bryan (freshman) as its third women’s basketball weekly award winners of the 2025-26 season, following their performances from Nov. 17-23.

GSC PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Cheyenne Trotter, Sr., F, Trevecca Nazarene
Trotter averaged 16 points, 11.5 rebounds, 3.5 steals and two assists as the Trojans went 1-1 on the week. The senior had a double-double with 19 points and 13 rebounds in an overtime loss to Kentucky Wesleyan. She also recorded 13 points and 10 rebounds for another double-double in an 80-38 win over Emory & Henry. Trotter shot .684 (13-of-19) from the field in 57 minutes played.

GSC FRESHMAN OF THE WEEK
Abigail Bryan, Fr., G, Union
Bryan averaged 14.5 points, three rebounds and 2.5 steals as the Lady Bulldogs picked up wins against Miles and Williams Baptist. The rookie registered nine points and two assists, while going a perfect 4-for-4 from the free throw line, in a 95-77 win over Miles. Her most notable appearance of the week was a 20-point, four-rebound and four-steal showing in a 100-65 win over Williams Baptist. This is Bryan’s second time earning GSC Freshman of the Week this season.
