PENSACOLA, Fla. — After a pair of thrilling five-set matches, top-seeded West Florida and second-seeded advanced to Sunday's Gulf South Conference Volleyball Championship title game following semifinal action on Saturday from the UWF Field House in Pensacola, Fla. It will mark the fourth consecutive season the tournament's top-two seeded teams go head-to-head in the finale.

#1 West Florida 3, #4 Lee 2 (25-17, 17-25, 23-25, 25-21, 21-19)
Three Argonauts finished with double-figure kills, led by Magdalena Vongkasemsiri who had 16, while Kumara Flanagain tallied 14, and Emily Breazeale had 13. Gabi Moulton had 46 assists, 18 digs, and was a kill shy of a triple-double. Moulton, Flanagain and Aniston Cochran had five blocks each, as Vongkasemsiri had six. With the win, West Florida advances to the title game for the 10th consecutive season and 17th-time in program history.
Payton Danley tallied a team-high of 15 kills. Jordyn Butler followed with 14, while Sara Palumbo had 13 kills. Izzy Denton tied a game-high with 28 digs.
Lee finished with a .202 hitting percentage, bettering the .185-mark by West Florida. UWF meanwhile had a 22-14 advantage in team blocks and a narrow 6-4 cushion in service aces. The match saw a tied score 26 times, including 11 in the fifth set alone.

The Trojans made program-history earning their first-ever trip to a GSC title game. Katilyn Grant was a net presence, knocking down 18 kills on 41 swing behind a .390 hitting percentage, while tallying nine blocks. Mackenzie Martin had 15 kills, while Skias Hainline put up 48 assists. Lily Vanbebber anchored the backline with a match-high 29 digs.
The Chargers were led by Caroline Moyer's 20 kills, while Kayla Ward and Mary Grace Bundrandt finished with 13 each. GSC Freshman Of the Year Sydney Durban logged a team-best 24 digs.
For the match, Trevecca hit .197 and had 26 attack errors, while UAH swung at a .144-clip and assumed 35 attack errors.
