GSC Men's Basketball Weekly Awards: Nov. 18

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. — The Gulf South Conference announced UAH's Quentin Toles (player) and Trevecca Nazarene's Fred Bailey (freshman) as its first men's basketball weekly award winners of the 2025-26 season, following their performances from Nov. 10-16.

GSC PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Quentin Toles, Sr., G, UAH

Toles opened the season averaging 26.5 points as the Chargers went 1-1 at the GSC/SSC South Region Conference Crossover. The senior put up 23 points in 30 minutes played in an 87-79 loss against No. 1 Nova Southeastern. He also went 8-for-15, recording 30 points with three 3-pointers made, as well as four rebounds in a 100-97 win over Barry.

GSC FRESHMAN OF THE WEEK
Fred Bailey, Fr., G, Trevecca Nazarene

Bailey averaged 13 points, 6.5 rebounds and five assists to start his collegiate career as the Trojans went 1-1 at the Robert Garrett Classic. He shot 50 percent from the field, going 8-for-16, and 83.3 percent from the foul line, going 10-for-12. Bailey's week was highlighted by his performance in an 88-82 win over Embry-Riddle (Fla.) as he scored 15 points in 28 minutes played.
