KANSAS CITY, Mo. — The National Basketball Coaches Association (NABC) announced the recipients for the 2024-25 NABC Honors Court and Team Academic Excellence Award, representing the classroom achievements of men’s basketball individuals and teams.
Among the NABC Honors Court, the Gulf South Conference was represented by 17 student-athletes from three teams. UAH led the way with nine, while Montevallo followed with five and Union was recognized with three honorees. In addition, two teams—UAH and Montevallo—garnered NABC Team Academic Excellence Award plaudits.
The announcement marked the highest number of GSC student-athletes and teams to be recognized in a decade.

The NABC Honors Court recognize junior, senior and graduate men’s basketball student-athletes who finished the season with a cumulative grade point average of 3.2 or higher.
