The Gulf South Conference announced its fifth volleyball Player of the Week awardees of the 2025 season, based on performances from September 29-October 5.

OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Kendall McCain, Sr., OH/RS, Auburn Montgomery

• Became AUM’s career kills leader early in the week with a 10-kill effort at Valdosta State.
• Tallied 59 kills (4.54/set), 63.5 points (4.88/set), 23 digs (2.88/set) and hit .345 across three matches.
• Had back-to-back double-doubles performances against Christian Brothers (23K-20D) and Union (26K-10D).
• Registered a career-high 26 kills in a five-set win against Union.

Ava Wind, So., DS/L, Montevallo

• Collected a total of 72 digs, averaging 6.5 per set, across three matches.
• Had a career-high 29 digs in a four-set win at Valdosta State.
• Began the week with a 26-dig outing at Mississippi College.
• Also finished the week with six assists and two aces.

FRESHMAN OF THE WEEK
Ana Colon, OH, West Florida

• Helped the Argonauts notch GSC wins over UAH and Montevallo.
• Registered 29.5 points along with 28 kills, .234 hitting, 16 digs, and three blocks. 
• Had a season-high 15 kills with eight digs, and two blocks in a three-set win against UAH.
• Tallied 13 kills, eight digs, and one block in a four-set decision over Montevallo.
