The Gulf South Conference announced its sixth men’s and women’s golf weekly awards recipients of the 2025-26 season, with performances from October 8-14.
GSC WOMEN’S GOLFER OF THE WEEK
Hannah Nall, Sr., Lee
Nall claimed a share of fifth placed at the LeeAnn Nobles Memorial held in Dahlonega, Ga. Her performance featured a stellar second round as she carded a 68, which was one-stroke shy of matching the low-round score. Nall’s tournament outing was bookended by scores of 73 in the first and 70 in the third. Over the course of 54 holes, she recorded 13 birdies, an eagle and parred 30 times while managing the par-72 terrain. Nall, who garnered her second GSC Golfer of the Week honor this season, led the Lady Flames to a third-place finish.

GSC WOMEN’S GOLF FRESHMAN OF THE WEEK
Lauren Patterson, West Florida
Patterson put together a standout performance at the LeeAnn Nobles Memorial, finishing tied for 13
th. She carded rounds of 70, 76 and 70 for the tournament overall of 216 even-par. Her performance also included 13 birdies and saw her par 30 of 54 holes. The rookie topped the Argonaut lineup, as West Florida finished seventh in a 16-team field. This is Patterson’s third GSC Freshman of the Week of the season and first-time earning the award in back-to-back weeks.

GSC MEN’S GOLFER OF THE WEEK
Per Ekelund, Jr., West Florida
Ekelund competed at the Copperhead Championship and captured his first tournament win of the season. The junior navigated the Innisbrook Golf Resort in Palm Harbor, Fla., by shooting a three-round score of 208 five-under-par. His performance was highlighted by a bogey-free third round, allowing him to climb 11 spots up the leaderboard as he carded a tournament-low 66 five-under-par. Ekelund opened the event with back-to-back rounds of 71. He parred 42 of 52 holes and finished with 14 birdies, while leading the Argonauts to their first tournament win of the season.

GSC MEN’S FRESHMAN OF THE WEEK
Tucker Wick, Lee
Wick picked up his third GSC weekly award of the season, after finishing tied for 16th at the Copperhead Championship held at the Innisbrook Golf Resort. He shot 216 (+3) during the three-round tournament and recorded scores of 70, 73, and 73. The rookie birdied 10 of the 54 holes and managed par on 31 others on the par-71 7,209-yard course. Wick helped Lee to its second top-three finish as the Flames took third in the team standings.
