The Gulf South Conference announced its sixth volleyball Player of the Week awardees of the 2025 season, based on performances from Oct 6-12.

OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Kumara Flanagain, Jr., RS/OH, West Florida

• Had 38 kills and hit .388 as the Argonauts went 3-0 in GSC play.
• Began the week hitting .615 with nine kills in a three-set sweep versus AUM.
• Tallied season-highs in kills (19) and attack attempts (40) while hitting .325 in 3-1 win at West Alabama.
• Capped the week with a 10-kill effort at Mississippi College while swinging .318.
• Averaged 4.22 kills per set over the three matches, while her weekly ledger also included 32 points, seven digs, five digs.

DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Ava Wind, So., DS/L, Montevallo

• Recorded 52 digs, averaging 4.33 per set, to help the Falcons go 3-0 in conference play.
• Opened the week with a 13-dig performance in a four-set win over West Alabama.
• Had 12 digs against Union in a three-set match.
• Tallied 27 digs in a five-set victory against Christian Brothers. 
• This is her second consecutive GSC Defensive Player of the Week award.

• Averaged a double-double across three matches as she finished with 72 assists and 30 digs.
• In 12 sets, averaged 6.0 assists and 2.5 digs per set, while also tallying one block and two kills. 
• Dished out 35 assists in a four-set match at Montevallo.
• Finished the week with 17 helpers against West Florida and 20 assists versus Valdosta State.
