Lee Wins Second Consecutive GSC Men's Outdoor Track & Field Championships

MONTEVALLO, Ala. — Lee University won the 2024 Gulf South Conference Men’s Outdoor Track & Field Championships for the second consecutive year and the fourth time in school history.

After 21 scored events, Lee topped the team standings with 241 total points. Alabama Huntsville joined Lee as the only teams to score over 200 points and finished second with a total of 203 points and Mississippi College claimed third with 151 points.

Following the conclusion of the third day of competition, UAH’s Ayden Walton was named the Most Outstanding Freshman Performer, while his teammate Michael Gizzi took home Most Outstanding Track Performer. Lee’s Cale Kassen won Most Outstanding Field and Overall Performer. This is Kassen’s second year in a row winning the Most Outstanding Overall Performer.
