GSC Golf Weekly Awards Presented by Athletic Solutions: March 19

The Gulf South Conference announced its men’s and women's golf weekly awards presented by Athletic Solutions for the 2025-26 season based on performances during March 11-17. 
  
GSC MEN'S GOLFER OF THE WEEK
Cooper Tendick, Sr., West Florida  
Tendick tied for second overall at the Bobcat Invitational held at Cuscowilla On Lake Oconee in Eatonton, Ga. The senior recorded seven birdies and carded a 36-hole score of 143 one-under par. With four birdies in the second round, Tendick carded a 67 to move into second-place after sitting in a tie for 18th after shooting a 72 in the first round. He led West Florida to a fifth-place finish in the team competition.

GSC MEN’S FRESHMAN OF THE WEEK
Weston Lowry, Fr., Trevecca Nazarene
Lowry earned a top-five finish as he tied for fifth at the SCAD Cup held at Heron Bay Golf & Country Club in Locust Grove, Ga. The rookie shot 150 three-over-par with round scores of 78 and 72 in the weather shortened event. Lowry finished with five birdies, helping Trevecca to a second-place finish in the tournament.

GSC WOMEN'S GOLFER OF THE WEEK
Sydney Moss, Jr., Mississippi College
Moss notched her tournament win of the season at the Centenary/Hal Sutton Invitational at the Golf Club at Stonebridge in Bossier City, La. The junior carded a 36-hole score of 149 five-over par with round of 76 and 73. With four birdies, two in each round, Moss paced the Lady Choctaws to their tournament win.

GSC WOMEN'S FRESHMAN OF THE WEEK
Justine Emond, Lee
Emond finished tied for 12th at the Peggy Kirk Bell Invitation at the Legacy Club at Alaqua Lakes in Longwood, Fla. The freshman shot 153 nine-over-par carding round scores of 75 and 78, in a weather shortened tournament. Emond finished with two birdies as Lee finished seventh on the team leaderboard.
