The Gulf South Conference announced its men's and women's golf weekly awards presented by Athletic Solutions for performances during Feb. 18-24.
GSC MEN'S GOLFER OF THE WEEK
Andrew Westmoreland, Jr., Union
Westmoreland tied for 13th in a field of 102 to open Union’s spring season at the Spring Bulldog Clash held at the Caledonia Golf & Fish Club in Pawleys Island, S.C. The junior shot 217 seven-over-par with round scores of 77, 71 and 69. His performance in the final frame was lowest of the round. Westmoreland chipped in for an eagle on a par-five, then hit a hole-in-one on the following par-three.

GSC MEN’S FRESHMAN OF THE WEEK
Weston Lowry, Trevecca Nazarene
Lowry competed at the Oldfield Classic in Okatie, S.C., claiming a share of 16th place. Over 54-holes, the rookie carded scores of 75, 71 and 74 for a three-round total 220 four-over-par. He carded the Trojans' lowest round score with 71 one-under-par. Lowry also had a team-high 10 birdies and led Trevecca to a 12-place team finish.

GSC WOMEN'S GOLFER OF THE WEEK
Camillie Burnette, Jr., Union
Burnette garnered a seventh-place finish at the Dunes West Women's Intercollegiate in Mt. Pleasant, S.C. The junior registered a score of 227 11-over-par while notching rounds of 76, 75 and 76. Her second-round performance of 75 was the lowest of the season for the junior. Burnette finished with five birdies and helped the Lady Bulldogs to a 7th-place team finish in a 17-team field.

GSC WOMEN'S FRESHMAN OF THE WEEK
Lauren Patterson, West Florida
Patterson competed in the Lady Moc Classic held at Grasslands Golf & Country Club in Lakeland, Fla. The rookie finished tied for 84th, while shooting 248 32-over-par with carded scores of 85, 84 and 79. The Argonauts placed 13th with a total team score of 937.
