BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – The Gulf South Conference was well represented on the 2025 College Sports Communicators Cross Country/Track & Field Academic All-District Teams as 36 student-athletes made the cut Tuesday.
Of the six GSC institutions represented, Montevallo led the way with ten student-athletes—five men and five women. Then, Lee had nine representatives while both Mississippi College and UAH had eight. Union and Valdosta State rounded out the pack with two and an individual representative, respectively. Four student-athletes were selected to advance to the CSC Academic All-America ballot with Ryan Lovelace and Aria Hawkins representing Lee, Montevello being represented by Emily Wolf, and Sam Wilhelm representing UAH for the second consecutive year.
