The Gulf South Conference announced its annual indoor track & field award winners following the 2025 season. All awards were voted by the Conference’s head coaches, who could not vote for candidates from their own team.
Lee swept the four women's awards as Aria Hawkins was named GSC Track Athlete of the Year. Liezl Theron and Liz Lannom were each unanimous selections for Field and Freshman Athlete of the Year, respectively, while Caleb Morgan was unanimously named women’s indoor Coach of the Year.
- Hawkins is the third female student-athlete from Lee to earn the Track Athlete of the Year honor, joining McKenna Cavanaugh and Celine Ritter.
- Theron won her second-career Field Athlete of the Year Award, and Lannom became the first Lady Flame to win the indoor freshman honors.
- Morgan picked up his sixth women's GSC Coach of the Year after directing the Lady Flames to a record sixth consecutive conference title.
Alabama Huntsville won three out of the four awards on the men’s side. Sam Wilhelm was voted Track Athlete of the Year. Meanwhile, teammate Malik Turner was named Field Athlete of the Year and Charger coach David Cain was tabbed as Coach of the Year. In addition, Montevallo's Austin Abney was voted Freshman Athlete of the Year.
- Wilhelm became the second UAH recipient of the garner top track honors, since Michael Gizzi won in 2020.
- Turner is the first Charger since Zach Hancock in 2022 to earn to field athlete recognition.
- Abney became the first Montevallo recipient of the freshman award.
- Cain was awarded his first GSC indoor track & field coaching honor after the Chargers celebrated their first-ever conference title.
The Gulf South also announced its All-GSC performers for the 2025 season. Honorees were determined based on their finish during the GSC Indoor Track & Field Championships. The women's squad is available here, while the men's team can be seen here.
