BIRMINGHAM, Ala. — The Gulf South Conference announced its Women’s Outdoor Track & Field Weekly Awards presented by Athletic Solutions for performances during April 6-12.
TRACK ATHLETE OF THE WEEK
Amiah Murry, Jr., UAH
- Competed in the 200m and 400m at the Joe Walker Invite.
- Logged a time of 23.40 for third place in the 200m.
- Won the 400m with a time of 52.65.
- Both finishes were new personal-bests, school records and NCAA provisional marks.
- She currently ranks first in the GSC for both events, as well as second and sixth in DII for the 400m and 200m, respectively.

- Recorded a personal-best, school record and NCAA provisional mark with 4,902 points.
- Now ranks first among GSC leaders for the event.
