Six GSC Schools Highlighted in Learfield Cup Standings

CLEVELAND, Ohio — Six Gulf South Conference member institutions were among the 155 schools listed in the 2025-26 Learfield Directors’ Cup Division II standings, following the conclusion of the fall season.

STANDINGS: OVERALL / CONFERENCE

West Florida led the conference as it placed sixth as it collected a total of 203 points. The Argonauts earned 53 points in football and 50 points apiece in men’s soccer, women’s soccer and volleyball.

Lee came in at No. 27 with 152.5 points, followed by UAH at No. 50  (106 pts). Mississippi College landed at No. 53, while Montevallo (No. 106) and Valdosta State (No. 124) rounded out the order for the conference.

The LEARFIELD Directors’ Cup was developed as a joint effort between the National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics (NACDA) and USA Today. Points are awarded based on each institution's finish in NCAA Championships.
