2025-26 GSC All-Sports Trophy: Winter Update

In the second look at the 2025-26 Gulf South Conference All-Sports Trophy competition, UAH leads the way in the men’s, women’s and overall standings following the winter sports season. The winter calendar featured four sports—men’s basketball, women’s basketball, men’s indoor track & field and women’s track & field.

After being in fourth after the fall, the Chargers top the standings with 72.250 total points, thanks to winning the GSC women’s regular season title before making a deep run in the tournament. UAH also benefitted from strong performances by the men’s and women’s indoor track & field at the GSC Championships, alongside a solid regular season effort by men’s basketball.

Lee sits in second in the overall standings with 68.875 points. West Florida dropped to third with 68.375 points. Mississippi College (57.375 points) slipped one spot to fourth, while Montevallo (49.250 points) continues to round out the top five. 

The Overall All-Sports Trophy counts all sports that a school sponsors, with its regular-season finish in the standings counting towards 75 percent of the final rank a tournament finish making up the other 25 percent. Affiliate member, Spring Hill, is included in the calculations, but do not qualify for the All-Sports Trophy.
