Lee, West Florida Set for 2026 NCAA DII Women's Golf South Regional

INDIANAPOLIS – Lee and West Florida were selected to compete in the 2026 NCAA Division II Women’s Golf Championship, as announced by the NCAA on Sunday afternoon. Both teams will begin play in the South Regional, May 4-6, at the Cleveland Country Club in Cleveland, Tenn.

Lee was unveiled as the region’s eight-seed while West Florida was seeded 16th. The South Regional may be one of the most competitive of the fields, with 16 of 18 teams among the top-25 according to Scoreboard powered by Clippd, with all 18 inside top-30.  

The Lady Flames secured their spot in regional by earning the Gulf South Conference’s automatic bid after winning the conference tournament earlier in the week. Lee has won two tournaments and are shooting 295.5 collectively over 25 round this season.

West Florida, an at-large selection, has played 29 rounds this season with three top-three finishing including a tournament win. The Argonauts card on average a team score of 299.9 this season.
