Lee’s, West Florida’s Season Ends at NCAA Division II South Regional

CLEVELAND, Tenn. – Lee’s and West Florida’s season came to an end Tuesday at the NCAA Division II South Regional at the Cleveland Country Club in Cleveland, Tennessee.

LEADERBOARD

Lee finished in fifth, just one stroke shy of advancing with a team score of 910 46-over-par. West Florida placed 15th, shooting 945 81-over-par. Wingate won the regional with a score of 894 30-over-par, while Tampa (902 38-over-par), Anderson (909 45-over-par) and Barry (909 45-over-par) also advanced to the NCAA Division II National Championship.

Lee’s Hannah Nall closed out the tournament climbing the leaderboard eight spots, with her best round score at 73 one-under-par. Nall was the top-finisher for the Lady Flames, tying for ninth with a three-round score of 223 seven-over-par. Emilia Nordström also put together a solid performance for Lee at 225 nine-over-par, good for 15th.

West Florida’s Isabela Urruchua carded a score of 230 14-over-par, claiming a share of 28th. Urruchua’s second round was her lowest score of the tournament at 76, which included an eagle on the 14th hole. Argonaut Millie Thompson finished just two strokes behind with an overall score of 232 16-over-par.
