BIRMINGHAM, Ala. — The Gulf South Conference has announced its Women’s Outdoor Track & Field Weekly Awards presented by Athletic Solutions for performances during March 9-15.
GSC TRACK ATHLETE OF THE WEEK
J’Da Williams, Fr., West Alabama
- Medaled three times at the Falcon Classic & Multi.
- Won the 100m race and clocked a NCAA-leading provisional time of 11.53.
- Placed second in the 200 with a time of 24.61.
- Helped the Tigers win the 4x100 relay (46.47).

GSC FIELD ATHELTE OF THE WEEK
Leah Dendy, Sr., Montevallo
- Won the women’s pole vault at the Falcon Classic & Multi.
- Cleared 3.45m (11’ 3.75”), more than two-feet higher than the next closer jumper.
