GSC Women's Indoor Track & Field Weekly Awards Presented by Athletic Solutions: Feb. 11

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. — The Gulf South Conference has announced its Women’s Indoor Track & Field Weekly Awards presented by Athletic Solutions for performances during Feb. 2-8, 2026

TRACK ATHLETE OF THE WEEK
Liz Lannom, Sr., Lee

  • Competed at the UAB Green and Gold Invitational.
  • Won the 60m hurdles (8.45) after placing second in prelims (8.55).
  • Ranked eighth on the NCAA DII provisional list.
  • Lannom also medaled as member of 4x400 as Lee finished third (3:50.35) and posted an NCAA provisional time.

FIELD ATHLETE OF THE WEEK
Brynn Depinet, Sr., Lee

  • Competed in the pole vault at the UAB Green and Gold Invitational.
  • Won the event with a height of 4.00m (13’ 1.5”).
  • Posted a NCAA provisional mark, placing her 10th in Division II.
  • Depinet also notched a personal-best and leads the GSC.

FRESHMAN OF THE WEEK
J’Da Williams, West Alabama

  • Ran 60m at the UAB Invitational.
  • Placed fifth and logged a NCAA provisional time (7.52).
  • Williams’ personal-best performance puts her atop the GSC chart and 21st among DII leaders.
