BIRMINGHAM, Ala. — The Gulf South Conference has announced its Women’s Indoor Track & Field weekly award for performances during the week of Jan. 5-11.
TRACK ATHLETE OF THE WEEK
Amiah Murry, Jr., UAH
- Competed in the 60m and 300m races at UAB Blazer Invitational.
- Finished third in the 300m against a Division I-laden field with a time of 39.62.
- Also competed in the 60m, posting a qualifying time of 7.74.
- Both performances were collegiate personal-bests for Murry, while her showing in the 300m was eighth-best in Division II history for the event.

FIELD ATHLETE OF THE WEEK
Jadlyn Debardlabon, Jr., UAH
- Won the long jump in a DI-heavy field at the UAB Blazer Invitational with mark of 5.96m (19’ 6.75”).
- She now tops the GSC performance list in the event and ranks seventh on the Division II provisional marks list.
- Posted a collegiate personal-best mark of 7.82 second in the 60m race.
- Competed in the triple jump at the UAB Vulcan Invitational, finishing seventh with a distance of 10.72m (35’ 2”), placing her fourth among GSC leaders.

FRESHMAN OF THE WEEK
Mallory Dial, Mississippi College
- Had a collegiate personal-best in high jump at the UAB Vulcan Invitational,
- Placed second in the event with a height of 1.64m (5’ 4.5”).
- Now ranks second in the event among GSC leaders and is the top freshman.
