NEW ORLEANS – Fifty-eight Gulf South Conference cross country student-athletes were named U.S. Track & Field and Cross County Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) All-Academic Athletes following the 2025 season.
In addition, 13 total GSC cross country programs were recognized with All-Academic Team accolades. Six member institutions—AUM, Christian Brothers, Lee, Mississippi College, Trevecca Nazarene, and West Florida—had both their men’s and women’s teams honored.
In order for student-athletes to qualify for All-Academic distinction, they must have a cumulative GPA of at least 3.25 on a 4.0 scale and finish in the top-30 percent of their respective regional championship meet, among other qualifiers.
In order for teams to qualify for All-Academic distinction, they must have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale, including the most recent grading period and compile a team score at their respective regional championship meet, among other qualifiers.
