WGCA Announce 2024-25 All-American Scholar Team

CORAL SPRINGS, Fla. — Eight Gulf South Conference women’s golf student-athletes were named to the 2024-25 Women’s Golf Coaches Association (WGCA) All-America Scholar Team as determined by the organization.

Among those listed, Lee University had five honorees while West Florida followed with three. 

The WGCA All-American Scholar Teams recognize the outstanding academic and athletic achievements in women's college golf. To be selected, a student-athlete is nominated by their coach and must meet the following criteria:

  • Must have an overall cumulative grade point average of of 3.50 or higher
  • Be an amateur and on the team’s roster through the conclusion of the team’s season
  • Have played in 50 percent of the college’s regularly scheduled competitive rounds during the year nominated through the team’s conference championship.
