AUSTIN, Texas — Three Gulf South Conference men’s tennis student-athletes were named to the 2025 NCAA Division II Academic All-America Team as announced by College Sports Communicators (CSC).

OFFICIAL ANNOUNCEMENT

To be selected, student-athletes with a cumulative 3.5 GPA or higher and satisfy other criteria are eligible to be nominated by members of the College Sports Communicators (formerly CoSIDA). Nominees recognized with Academic All-District® honors are then added to the national ballot which is voted on all College Sports Communicators members affiliated with a Division II school or conference.

2025 CSC Academic All-Americans
First Team: Takeshi Taco, Valdosta State (Sr.) – 3.69 GPA. Applied Economics 
Second Team: Sebastian Sotelo, West Florida (Gr.) – 4.00/4.00 GPA, MBA
Third Team: Boruch Skierkier, Valdosta State (Sr.) – 3.73 GPA, International Business
