Volleyball gets closer and closer to the end of the regular season while soccer has reached postseason play with the conference championships set to take place. Cross country digs deeper into its postseason action, and men’s basketball tips off for the 2024-25 season. The rest of the GSC also gets its respective seasons going in women’s basketball. 
 
Men’s Soccer | Championship Central
The 2024 GSC Men’s Soccer Championship will begin on Friday and end on Saturday with quarterfinals action. The top-four seeds will host each matchup of the quarterfinals, with West Florida coming in as the top overall seed. Friday will see a standalone match as Christian Brothers looks to extend its unbeaten streak against Delta State (6 PM CT; FloCollege). Saturday matchups include Mississippi College playing host to Spring Hill (1 PM CT; FloCollege), Lee traveling to play West Florida (7 PM CT; FloCollege), and Trevecca Nazarene duking it out against Auburn Montgomery (7 PM CT; FloCollege). Women’s Soccer | Championship Central
The 2024 GSC Women’s Soccer Championship will commence with quarterfinals action set to begin on Sunday. The top-four seeds will host each matchup of the quarterfinals as West Florida rolls in as the top overall seed. Matchups will include Valdosta State going on the road to face off against Lee (12 PM CT; FloCollege), Union hosting Delta State (1 PM CT; FloCollege), West Florida looking to remain unbeaten against GSC teams this season as it plays host to Spring Hill (1 PM CT; FloCollege), and the quarterfinals will be rounded out by Montevallo taking on Mississippi College (4 PM CT; FloCollege). Volleyball | Schedule 
Volleyball action heats up with the weekend slate starting off on Thursday with an in-state showdown between Lee and Trevecca Nazarene (6 PM CT; FloCollege). Then, matches will continue on Friday starting with UAH playing host to Union (6 PM CT; FloCollege). The slate will also include West Florida looking to extend its unbeaten streak in conference play against Mississippi College (6 PM CT; FloCollege), Auburn Montgomery taking on Trevecca Nazarene at home (6 PM CT; FloCollege), and Christian Brothers going on the road to face off against Montevallo (6 PM CT; FloCollege). The final match of Friday will take place between West Alabama and Valdosta State (6 PM CT; FloCollege). 
 
Volleyball action will move forward and ultimately end for the week on Saturday. 
  
Cross Country | Championship Central
The 2024 NCAA Division II South Region Championships will get underway on Saturday as the GSC will be well represented in both races. The Rocket City of Huntsville, Ala., as well as the Huntsville Sports Commission will play host to both the men’s 10k race and the women’s 6k race. The men’s race will commence at 9 AM CT while the women’s race will start up around 10:15 AM CT. Additional information can be found here.

Men’s Basketball | Schedule 
Men’s basketball action will tip off for the 2024-25 season on Friday. The GSC/SIAC Challenge will take place along with the GSC/SSC Regional Crossover. Notable matchups on Friday include Christian Brothers tipping off against Tuskegee, UAH going up against Nova Southeastern (1 PM CT; FloCollege), Auburn Montgomery battling Florida Southern, and Valdosta State playing host to Fort Valley State (7 PM ET; FloCollege). 
 
Crossover play will continue into Saturday, this time with West Alabama and Mississippi College both beginning their 2024-25 campaigns against Albany State (5:30 PM CT; FloCollege) and Central State (6 PM CT; FloCollege). Men’s basketball action will continue through Saturday and into Sunday where it will conclude for the weekend. 
 
Women’s Basketball | Schedule 
Women’s basketball action will get started on Thursday as the women’s side also sees action in both the GSC/SSC Regional Crossover and the GSC/SIAC Crossover. Thursday’s action will be headlined by Valdosta State taking on Palm Beach Atlantic. 
 
The weekend slate will continue into Friday where notable matchups will include Lee facing off against Rollins, Montevallo going on the road to match up against Nova Southeastern (2 PM CT; FloCollege), West Florida traveling for a road matchup against Eckerd, and Delta State looking to take down Lane (2 PM CT; FloCollege). The last day of the crossover event will take place on Saturday with women’s basketball action concluding for the weekend there.
