The Gulf South Conference announced its men's basketball weekly award winners for Week 3 of the 2023 season with games played between November 20-26.
PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Beyuan Hendricks, Sr., G, Lee
Hendricks dominated in Lee's 87-73 win against Valdosta State, notching a career-high 33 points and nine assists. The senior guard shot an efficient 72%, including five made three-pointers. Additionally, he contributed one rebound and one assist in the game.

Applegate showcased a solid performance over the weekend, tallying 10 points and 10 rebounds. In the game against Purdue Northwest, the freshman made an impact with six points, five rebounds, two blocks, one steal, and one assist, while shooting an impressive 67%. The Murfreesboro native continued to contribute in the matchup against Mississippi College, scoring four points and grabbing five rebounds.
