#GSCMBB Players of the Week: Dec. 7

The Gulf South Conference announced its fourth set of Men's Basketball Player of the Week awards for the 2021-22 season. This week's awards were for games played between Nov. 29-Dec. 5.

Player of the Week: Isaiah Hart, G - Auburn Montgomery
Hart notched the program's first triple-double since 2019-20 with a 29-point, 13-assist, and 10-rebound performance in the Warhawks' 116-64 win over Southeastern Baptist on Dec. 1. The senior scored 20 points on 7-of-10 shooting while also recording five assists and four rebounds in a 90-85 loss against Montevallo on Dec. 4. Hart averaged 24.5 points, nine assists and seven rebounds over a two-game stretch last week while shooting 74 percent (20-of-27) from the floor.

Freshman of the Week: Bryson Hall, G - Delta State 
Hall came off the bench and recorded a four-point, six-rebound and two-assist stat line in a 84-83 overtime victory against Alabama Huntsville on Dec. 2. The freshman shot 80 percent from the free throw line while scoring eight points in a 62-55 win over West Alabama. Hall averaged six points and four rebounds in DSU's first weekend of conference play.
