#GSCMBB Players of the Week: Nov. 30
The Gulf South Conference announced its third set of Men's Basketball Player of the Week awards for the 2021-22 season. This week's awards were for games played between Nov. 22-28.
Player of the Week: Luke Burnett, G - Alabama Huntsville
Burnett turned in a stellar performance against Oakwood, scoring 34 points on 63 percent from the field in just 26 minutes. He knocked down 10 out of 15 threes in the game with nine of them coming in the first half, setting what is believed to be an Alabama Huntsville record for threes in a half. His 29 first-half points are second-most points in a half by a UAH player. His 10 three-pointers rank T-8th all-time in GSC history. Burnett currently leads the nation in total 3-pointers and is fifth in the country in 3-pointers per game.

Freshman of the Week: Raphael Houssou, G - Shorter
Houssou scored 11 points on 30.7 percent shooting against Young Harris on Tuesday, Nov. 23. The freshman also pulled down eight defensive boards while recorded two assists and two steals. He shot 37.5 percent from behind the arc making three of his eight three's on Tuesday night.
