The 2026 Gulf South Conference Men’s Basketball Championship continued Thursday with semifinal contests. Top-seed West Alabama and third-seed West Florida advanced to the championship game.

The title game is set for a 1 p.m. CT tip off as West Alabama will host West Florida at Pruitt Hall in Livingston, Ala.

• West Alabama advanced to its sixth title game and returns for the first time since winning in 2023.
• BJ Brown Jr. scored a game-high 26 points, while adding seven assists.
• The Tigers converted 28-of-58 (.483) from the floor and 17-of-22 (.772) from the line.
• Quentin Toles led the Chargers with 16 points, while tallying a game-high eight assists.
• UAH shot 41 percent (26-for-63) from the field.

• The Argonauts advanced to the championship game for the second time-ever and first time since winning in 2018.
• Newcomer of the Year, Aric Demings, led offensively with 22 points and had five assists, two rebounds, one block and one steal.
• West Florida shot 26-for-57 (.456) from inside the paint and went 23-for-28 (.821) on free throws.
• Dayveun Anderson scored a team-high 20 points for Lee.
• The Flames finished shooting 28-for-59 (.475) from the field.
