BIRMINGHAM, Ala. — The seventh release of the 2026 Gulf South Conference Men’s Tennis Weekly Awards presented by Athletic Solutions recognized West Florida’s Sebastian Rondon (player) and Montevallo’s Christian Bacher (freshman), following their performances from March 16-22.
GSC PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Sebastian Rondon, Sr., West Florida
- Defeated Lee’s Filipe Krohn (6-1, 2-6, 7-6 [7-5]) on court one.
- Went 2-0 on court one alongside Diego Duran.
- Defeated Lee’s Quinn Groenendijk and Jip Langerhuizen (6-3).
- Defeated fifth-ranked Cian Mikkelsen and Adrian Solorzano from Harding (7-6).

- Defeated VSU’s Igbinovia and Emile Delporte (6-4).
- Defeated Mississippi College’s Mikayel Avanesyan and Charles Lefort (6-2).
