Ten Gulf South Conference football student-athletes were named to the College Sports Communicators (CSC) All-District® team, following the 2025 season.

All four GSC football-playing institutions were recognized. The CSC also announced that Delta State’s Gabe Schweitzer and Taylon Doss along with West Alabama’s Elijah Guyton will advance to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot. 

OFFICIAL ANNOUNCEMENT

The award recognize the nation’s top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes football honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.

Student-athletes selected as CSC Academic All-America® finalists are denoted with an asterisk and will advance to the national ballot to be voted on by CSC members. Academic All-America® selections will be announced January 27.
