BIRMINGHAM, Ala. — Four Gulf South Conference baseball teams were recognized the American Baseball Coaches Association announced its 2025 ABCA Team Academic Excellence Award Winners.

This season the GSC was represented Lee, Mississippi College, Union and West Florida.

Teams were nominated by their head coach. To be honored, team had to have a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.00 on a 4.00 scale for the 2024-25 academic year; and a head coach who is a current ABCA member.
