AUSTIN, Texas — Two Gulf South Conference women’s tennis student-athletes were named to the 2025 NCAA Division II Academic All-America Team as announced by College Sports Communicators (CSC).

OFFICIAL ANNOUNCEMENT

To be selected, student-athletes with a cumulative 3.5 GPA or higher and satisfy other criteria are eligible to be nominated by members of the College Sports Communicators (formerly CoSIDA). Nominees recognized with Academic All-District® honors are then added to the national ballot which is voted on all College Sports Communicators members affiliated with a Division II school or conference.

2025 CSC Academic All-Americans
First Team: Ashleigh Simes, Lee (Sr.) – 3.62 GPA, Business Administration 
Third Team: Carlota Verdu, West Florida (Jr.) – 3.72 GPA, Engineering Technology
