MIAMI SHORES, Fla. — The Missisissippi College women's tennis season came to end as it fell to top-ranked Barry, 4-1, in the NCAA Division II South Regionial at the Buccaneer Tennis Center.
The Choctaws' lone point of the match came from Emma Roberts who downed fifth-ranked Alina Michalitsch in straight sets (6-1, 7-5) in singles action on court one. After dropping the first set, 6-4, Jules De Mata rolled to a 6-3 win in the second frame. In the decisive third set, De Mata led 4-1 before the abandoned as Barry clinched the win.
