GSC Conclude Day One of 2025 GSC Women’s Outdoor Track & Field Championship

CLEVELAND, Tenn. – After the first day of the 2025 GSC Outdoor Track & Field Championships, Alabama Huntsville is in the lead with 43 points. The Lady Flames of Lee are in second with 31 points while Mississippi College is in third with 28 points. Montevallo is in fourth with 15 points. West Alabama, Trevecca Nazarene, and Christian Brothers will all look to get on the board during action on day two.

OTHER NOTABLE PERFORMANCES
In the Shot Put section of the Heptathlon, Lee’s Sydney White recorded a GSC record with a throw of 11.63 meters. White currently leads the event with 2,875 points while Montevallo’s Hallie Harrell is in second with 2,534 points. 
 
Day two for the women’s championship will begin on Friday starting with the Women’s 5000 Meters at 8:30 AM ET/7:30 AM CT. Due to schedule changes from inclement weather, the FloCollege stream will begin at 11:45 AM ET/10:45 AM CT on day two.
