BIRMINGHAM, Ala. — The conference’s lone game of Week 10 provided plenty of excitement as Valdosta State upended No. 21 Delta State, 27-23. 

Down 21-7 after the first quarter and 21-10 at the half, the Blazers rallied in the second half outscoring the Statesmen 17-2. Valdosta State edged out Delta State in total offense tallying 344 yards including 185 on the ground, while DSU had 328 yards with 242 passing yards. With the win, Valdosta State improved to 2-0 and set up a de facto GSC title game against West Florida 

West Alabama was scheduled to play Lincoln (Calif.), however the game was cancelled.
