KANSAS CITY, Mo. — The National Association of the Basketball Coaches (NABC) announced that Montevallo’s Braxton Bertolette and West Georgia’s Michael Zabetakis were named to the prestigious 2023 NABC/Reese’s Division II College All-Star Game.

The Division II All-Star Game, held in conjunction with the 2023 NCAA Division II Men’s Basketball Championship, features the top senior talent across Division II. Zabetakis was tabbed to play on the East Team, while Bertolette will play for the West.
Zabetakis, a native of Cumming, Ga., was selected after averaging career-highs in scoring (18.4/game) and steals (1.4/game). The All-GSC First Teamer also recorded 5.2 rebounds and shot 43.1 percent from the floor and converted a 36 percent clip from three-point distance.
Bertolette was a standout performer in his first season with Montevallo. The native of Fort Collins, Colo., finished the year as the conference’s top scorer averaging 22.1 points per game, while shooting 47.6 percent from the field. The All-GSC honoree was also among conference leaders in free throw shooting (1st/.912) and three-point shooting (12th/.370).
The game will be held Friday, March 24 at 6:00 pm CT at the Ford Center in Evansville, Ind. The game will not be broadcasted, however live stats will be available.
