GSC 2023-24 All-Sports Trophy Standings: Fall

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. — Following the conclusion of the 2023 ensemble of fall —cross country, football, soccer and volleyball—West Florida topped the overall standings for the 2023-24 Gulf South Conference All-Sports Trophy.

The Argonauts collected 53.250 total points during fall competition season. They led the women’s sports standings with 30.125 points, while placing second-overall in men’s sports (23.125). 

West Florida won the regular season titles in volleyball and women’s soccer and finished third in men’s soccer and football. The Argos also celebrated GSC tournament trophies in men’s soccer and volleyball. 

Mississippi College trailed in second with 52.875 points. Lee was third (47.875 points), followed by Alabama Huntsville (42.000), while Auburn Montgomery (37.375) rounded out the top five. 

The Overall All-Sports Trophy counts all sports that a school sponsors, with its regular-season finish in the standings counting towards 75 percent of the final rank a tournament finish making up the other 25 percent. Affiliate members (Chowan, North Greenville and Spring Hill) are included in the calculations, but do not qualify for the All-Sports Trophy.
