WEEKLY RECAP
- Daniel Sofield scored 24 for West Florida as the Argos topped Lee, 74-71. Sofield shot 64 percent (9-of-14) from the floor including 50 percent (3-of-6) from behind the arc. UWF's Jejuan Weatherspoon recorded a 10-point, 10-rebound double-double off the bench.
- Union remained undefeated in conference play as the Bulldogs defeated Christian Brothers, 73-65. Union's Tyree Boykin led all scorers in this game with 28 points while shooting 6-of-7 from three and a perfect 6-of-6 from the free throw line.
- Montevallo staved off a late run by Mississippi College to win 69-67. Montevallo's Aaris-Monte Bonds recorded a double-double with 13 points and 13 rebounds while junior guard James McNiel scored 17 points on 6-of-11 shooting.
- Delta State moved to 3-0 in conference play with a 78-67 win over Auburn Montgomery. DSU's scoring was led by Lee Cotton's 21 points. Maalik Cartwright had a full stat line for the Statesmen with 15 points, 10 rebounds, three assists, and three blocks.
- Alabama Huntsville won a close game against West Georgia, 62-59. UAH's offense was led by 19 points from Chaney Johnson while West Georgia's Kadiem Jones led all scoring with 24 points on 45 percent shooting (9-of-20).
- Lee defeated Valdosta State, 87-64, with 39 bench points. Jalen Page came off the bench for the Flames and led all scoring with 19 points on 7-of-11 shooting (63 percent). PJay Smith and Makhi McGuire both scored 12 points as the duo came off the bench.

- Alabama Huntsville has made the most three-point field goals (139) in Div. II while taking the second-most three's (362). The Chargers also ranked seventh among national leaders with 11.6 three's made per game as well as first with 218 total assists.
- Auburn Montgomery has blocked 66 shots this season (first) and averaged 6.6 blocks per game (second).
- West Alabama has held opponents to just 55.7 points per game which is the second-best scoring defense in Div. II. The Tigers have also taken 228 freethrows (13th) and made 164 (11th).
- Valdosta State recorded 10.3 steals per game (13th) while also shooting 240 free throws (seventh) and making 149 free throws (26th).
- Alabama Huntsville's Luke Burnett has shot 114 three's (second) and made 48 (second) for an average of 4.0 three's per game (fourth). Burnett also ranked 20th with 202 total points ... teammate Chaney Johnson has made 80 field goals (tenth) while shooting 65 percent from the floor (16th).
- West Alabama's Kortrijk Miles has taken the fourth-most free throws (83) and made the fourth-most free throws (61) in the nation.
- Isaiah Hart (Auburn Montgomery) ranked 21st with 51 total assists while his teammate Roderick Smith ranked 15th with 18 total blocks ... teammate James Graham has blocked 17 shots (20th) while Jeremiah Bozeman (AUM) has recorded 27 total steals (fourth).
- Delta State head coach Mike Nienaber enters the weekend with 611 career wins, the seventh-most among active Div. II head coaches ... Valdosta State head coach Mike Helfer holds 511 wins while Christian Brothers head coach John Reilly owns 491 career victories. Helfer and Reilly rank 17th and 21st respectively among active Div. II coaches.
