Welcome to the official home page of the 2013 Raymond James Gulf South Conference Men’s and Women’s Basketball Championship Tournaments. 
 
This year’s four-day Tournament will be held at the Pete Hanna Center on the campus of Samford University in Birmingham, Alabama from Thursday, March 7th until Sunday, March 10th.  Sunday’s Women’s and Men’s Finals will be shown live by ESPN3/ESPN Full Court, Mediacom, the Alabama Cable Network and CoxSports.  CSS will show the men’s game live, while the (women’s will be shown Monday, March 11 at 7:00 pm.

WEDNESDAY, MARCH 6
Welcoming Pary (5:30 - 7:00 pm)
The Plaza at SoHo Square in Downtown Homewood, AL.  We will be having a Welcome Party in which all GSC fans and the entire Birmingham community is invited.  Free hot dogs and snacks will be provided by our Presenting Sponsor, Michael's and more.  Players on the All-GSC Teams will be introduced, dance teams and cheerleaders are expected and a DJ playing an assortment of music will be at this festive event.  Click HERE for directions to SoHo Square.

Fan Appreciation Night
8:00 - 11:00 pm at Michael's Restaurant in the Aloft Hotel in Homewood, AL.  The GSC will be hosting a Fan Appreciation Night!  Free wings will be available to those with a ticket from the tournament.  It will be a fun get-together for fans to meet each other and reflect back on the first two days of the tournament..  Click HERE for directions to the Aloft Hotel.

PARKING:  Parking is complimentary on the Samford campus.  Detailed parking information can be found HERE.
 
TICKETS:  All tickets to the 2013 GSC Basketball Tournaments are General Admission and are provided on a Per-Day basis.
Adults--$8
GSC Students/Senior Citizens (60 years or older)/Active Military--$5 (Proper Identification is need for $5 ticket access)
Children under 5 years old admitted Free

PHOTOS:  Wade Event Photography will be shooting each game of the GSC Tournament.  Fans can purchase photographs during and after the Tournament by visiting Wade Event Photography's website which can be found HERE.

MEDIA INFORMATION
 
MEDIA CREDENTIALS:  Media Credential requests should be made directly to the GSC Office to Assistant Commissioner Michael Anderson at mikeanderson@gscsporst.org.  Deadline for requests is Monday, March 4^th.  When submitting your request, please list your media group plus the names and duties of each of your representatives.
