The second set of 2026 Gulf South Conference Men’s Soccer Weekly Awards presented by Athletic Solutions have been announced, based on performances from Aug. 31-Sept. 6.

PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Oli Orzechowski, F, Sr., UAH

• Led UAH to a 2-0 victory at Georgia Southwestern, scoring both goals of the game in the 50th and 66th minutes.
• Finished the win with six shots, including four on goal, and four points.
• Recorded his second multi-goal game and second game-winning goal of the season.
• Leads the GSC in average shots (5.33), shots on goal (10), goals per game (1.333), game-winning goals per game (.667) and points per game (2.67).

DEFENDER OF THE WEEK
Haden Brown, D, Fr., Trevecca Nazarene

• Scored the lone goal in Trevecca’s 1-0 road victory over No. 19 Carson-Newman.
• Helped the Trojan defense post a clean sheet in the nationally ranked road win.
• The victory was Trevecca’s first-ever win at Carson-Newman and the Trojan’s first 3-0 start to a season since 2006.

GOALKEEPER OF THE WEEK
Hunter Walker, GK, So., Trevecca Nazarene

• Made six saves while posting a shutout in the Trojans' 1-0 road win at No. 19 Carson-Newman.
• Recorded his second shutout of the season and seventh shutout of his career, tied for second-most in Trevecca Nazarene’s NCAA Division II era.
• Helped the Trojans improve to 3-0 for the first time since 2006.

FRESHMAN OF THE WEEK
Harry McLean, F, Fr., Mississippi Christian

• Led Mississippi Christian with three goals and six points during a 1-1 week against non-conference South Region opponents. 
• Scored twice, including the game-winning goal, in a 3-0 home victory over Eckerd.
• Added the game-tying goal in a 2-1 loss to Florida Southern.
