BIRMINGHAM, Ala. — Flagler’s Jessica Wright (offensive), Flagler’s Ella Pinder (defensive) and UAH’s Olivia Rewers (freshman) were recognized with Gulf South Conference Women's Lacrosse Weekly Awards presented by Athletic Solutions, following their performances between Feb. 2-8.

GSC OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Jessica Wright, Sr., M, Flagler
Wright had eight points to help the Saints earn a region victory at No. 10 Saint Leo in a top-15 clash. The senior midfielder registered a game-high six goals as well as two assists in an 18-11 win, with all seven shots on target. She also caused two turnovers and found three ground balls. This is Wright’s first GSC Offensive Player of the Week award of the 2026 season.

GSC DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Ella Pinder, Sr., M, Flagler
Pinder led the Saints’ defense to a 1-0 week. The senior midfielder tied the team-high in caused turnovers with two, while finding two ground balls in an 18-11 win over No. 10 Saint Leo. She also led the team with four draw controls and tallied three goals with five-of-six shots on target. This is Pinder’s first GSC Defensive Player of the Week award of the 2026 season.

GSC FRESHMAN OF THE WEEK
Olivia Rewers, Fr., AT/MF, UAH
Rewers had a solid performance in UAH’s lone game on the week. The rookie posted three points with three goals on six shots in a 11-7 loss to No. 9 Embry-Riddle. She also caused a turnover and added two draw controls. This is Rewers’ second consecutive GSC Freshman of the Week award of the 2026 season.
